Cheree Warrick
A seasoned coach for founders and entrepreneurs, Cheree Warrick writes business plans and creates financial forecasts for companies seeking funding from banks and angel investors. She has worked with more 100 entrepreneurs, helping them understand what potential investors need to know and how to position their businesses to receive financing successfully.
Her book, Creating Business Plans that Actually Get Financed, has received accolades from numerous angel investors and commercial bankers, including Barbara Corcoran of the hit TV show Shark Tank and Valerie Gaydos, founder of the Angel Venture Forum of DC.
Her coaching and business plan writing practice started after she joined her family’s bookkeeping business in 2009. While there, she assisted the company in serving over 35 clients in 22 industries. As the company grew, management decided to seek bank financing for business expansion. The president of the bank said Cheree’s business plan was one of the best he’d ever read. The rest, as they say, is history.
Before working in her family’s business, Cheree spent five years at a national government contracting firm. During her time there, Cheree helped the company grow from $50 million to $200 million in annual revenue by developing the company’s pricing models for all request for proposal (RFP) responses, preparing the company’s annual budget, and summarizing all budget-to-actual results each month.
Cheree holds a bachelor’s degree in international business from American University and a master’s degree in finance from George Washington University.
